Triangle Tube Boilers: What Homeowners Should Know

Triangle Tube is no longer in business. This happened abruptly with no warning. As a result, all manufacturer warranties are void, factory technical support is no longer available, and replacement parts have become increasingly scarce. This has created challenges for homeowners who currently rely on Triangle Tube boilers to heat their homes and provide hot water.

While the manufacturer is no longer operating, we are still able to service and repair many Triangle Tube boilers. We have proactively secured a limited inventory of the most commonly needed replacement parts. These parts are available only in limited quantities and only for certain models, which means not all repairs will be feasible. In some cases, once a failure occurs, a repair may simply no longer be possible due to parts availability.

The scope and cost of replacement can vary significantly depending on the age and configuration of the existing system. In newer installations, it may be possible to remove the existing boiler and slide in a new one with minimal system modifications. In older systems, additional components such as piping, controls, venting, or other upgrades may be required, which can increase the overall cost of the project by several thousand dollars.

We strongly recommend staying on top of annual boiler maintenance. Regular maintenance allows us to identify external issues and aging components early, helping extend the life of the boiler and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures. While no system lasts forever, proactive care can make a meaningful difference—especially with discontinued equipment.
